Berean Christian College and Seminary holds that the Bible is the verbally inspired and infallible, authoritative Word of God and that God gave the words of Scripture by inspiration without error.

 

A Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Biblical and Theological Studies is designed for the student that intends to serve in full time ministry and desires to have a robust knowledge of the Scriptures and Theology. A graduate of this program will demonstrate advanced ability to:

  1. Correctly identify the historical cultural and theological context of any portion of Scripture.

  2. Properly apply the rules of interpretation and contextualize the grammatical meaning of any portion of Scripture.

  3. Correctly identify and explain Angelology, Anthropology, Bibliology, Christology, Ecclesiology, Eschatology, Hamartiology, Pneumatology, Soteriology and Theology.

  4. Show evidence of a proper theological understanding of Scripture by correctly incorporating theological concepts in sermon and lesson delivery.
